(82,849 posts)One of the first conversations I had this past weekend at Men's Retreat was with a guy who has a friend who voted for President Trump. He told me his friend was now regretting his vote. My knee-jerk response for the friend was "Too bad, so sad, and fuck you." But before I could get that response out, my brain intervened and said, "Well, good for him! I'd be more worried if he was watching this shitshow and insisted that all was well. Stay in touch with him."
We don't have to kick folks when they've finally seen the light. Let's encourage them to stay connected and vigilant so that they next time they get a chance to vote - if it comes - they don't waste it voting for a charlatan.

(11,686 posts)of those things! DID THEY NOT LISTEN FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR AND A HALF TO HIM? I knew he would do all of what he is doing because I listened to him. I knew his childish, arrogant, and narcissistic behavior would not change. I hate listening to him ( still do ) but it is important to know what he is saying to get a true idea of what he will actually do or not do. I hope they have learned to actually listen to somebody who is talking. Sometimes you need to pick apart what has been said and they did not.
