6. There's an issue the Deplorables haven't considered

The Deplorables would be perfectly happy in a society where the (insert name of group they are pissed-off about this week) get treated so badly they leave but the "good people" (read: the Deplorables and anyone like them) are left alone.

That's a nice theory but in practice, when shit gets bad in a dictatorship it gets bad for everyone.

They need a strong man to idolize and worship. Someone who will think for them because they've been indoctrinated to believe that positions of power equal right whenever their team controls the power.

12. I don't think they've thought that far ahead

My guess is very few of them would like it. Each of them believes the government would do exactly what they want it to do but that's not how dictatorships work. When they don't get overtime anymore, when the bank takes their house and there is nothing they can do about it, when the school their child was going to closes they won't be happy. When a natural disaster happens and no one comes to help they won't be happy. When the rules and regulations they say they hate are gone and they get sick and/or hurt they won't be happy. When the rule of law that has kept them free since they were a gleam in their daddy's eye is gone they won't be happy.
