Yesterday I Noticed Fox News Start Referring To The GOP's "First 200 Days" Agenda.

A subtle shift away from the previous talking point 'the GOP's "first 100 days" agenda.' (Nice try, a-holes. Did you really think nobody would notice?)

I first heard Peter "Beavis" Doucey start referring to it as the GOP's "first 200 days" agenda. They are obviously trying to lower the expectations of their base, who were made all sorts of promises about what the GOP would accomplish in the first 100 days. (Fox even has an evening show called "The First 100 Days," which is going to stick out like a sore thumb if they start calling it the first 200 day agenda....and later the 'first 300 day' agenda, and pretty soon "THE ONE YEAR" agenda.

I found this switch in talking points to be quite amusing, since it's a secret acknowledgement that the GOP legislative agenda is still a giant clusterf#ck, and they can't agree on anything.

Well, aside from repealing financial and environmental regulations, that is. They can all agree on that. But when it comes to repealing Obamacare...they've got nothing. When it comes to "fixing" Social Security and Medicare...they've got nothing. When it comes to reforming the Tax Code...they've got nothing. The GOP leadership obviously knows it's going to take them a lot more than 100 days to even APPEAR that they've got a plan, and they've sent the word out the Propaganda Ministry to start lowering expectations.

Thing is, though...Trump may not like that. I think he's going to start bullying the GOP to get things done faster than the actual GOP leadership knows they can be done. This is going to be fun to watch.

Ridiculous, unrealistic expectations? YOU BUILT THAT, GOP!

keep an eye on them!

At first I would watch Fox News and just get angry. But, these days, I'm enjoying it, as I see them get more and more desperate to find new and creative ways to put lipstick on this giant pig they've created. It's starting to feel more and more like watching an episode of JACKASS.

6. Media reviews of 'Day One' promises and link to Trump's official 100-day plan

These are just a few of the media reviews:

How Many of His 'Day One' Promises Did Trump Fulfill?
The president laid out 18 promises in a “Contract With the American Voter,” but he only managed to check off a handful by Monday.

...

The full list, as Tim Murphy chronicled, included some things that were either wildly implausible and evidently figurative, or things that are impossible to assess. (How would you “fix” the Veterans Affairs Department on Day One? What does it mean to start taking care of the military?) But Trump also laid out a set of 18 specific, discrete promises for his first day in office in what he called a “Contract With the American Voter.” So how did he do?

On his first day in office, Trump broke 34 promises
The new president made 36 promises about his first day, but kept only two of them.

they had to add in the time that 45 is golfing so that accounted for the extra hundred days, right?

I'm still not convinced that Resident Chump's administration will get a 2nd hundred days.
