Melania Trump strips all references to her plans to profit off being First Lady from defamation lawsuit

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/melania-trump-strips-all-references-to-her-plans-to-profit-off-being-first-lady-from-defamation-lawsuit/

Trump’s lawyers filed an amended complaint in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday, the Post reports. The original defamation lawsuit was filed against the UK-based online magazine after it alleged the president’s wife was formerly an escort. It argued the First Lady suffered $150 million in damages because she could no longer use her name to enrich herself.

“Plaintiff had the unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as an extremely famous and well-known person…to launch a broad-based commercial brand in multiple product categories, each of which could have garnered multi-million dollar business relationships for a multi-year term during which plaintiff is one of the most photographed women in the world,” the original lawsuit read.

“These product categories would have included, among other things, apparel, accessories, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, hair care, skin care and fragrance,” it continued.

In the amended lawsuit, Trump’s lawyers removed the “product categories” that were allegedly damaged by the Mail Online article, which included “apparel, accessories, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, hair care, skin care and fragrance.”

That will always be the perception of her. Gold-digger. A first lady who has nude photos available for anyone to see who cares to look. Nobody can convince me that she actually made a living from THOSE photos. Not too exceptional, boyish shape, no boobs until tRump bought her new ones. These two deserve each other, both shameless money grubbers.

Robert Palmer set a trend...a good one or a bad one, depending on one's perspective...with the "cold / emotionless / detached" models in his 80s videos. When anyone else tried to replicate that style, it often looked foolish...like Melania's nude photos and that familiar icy, piercing stare.

It's her life, her body, her decision. Whatever is true or untrue about any other sources of alleged income she had before meeting Trump, we are judged in this world. Is that fair or unfair? No, that's life. Is she a gold digger, or did she fall in love with Trump and marry him simply because he is the lovable man of her dreams? Once again, that's her business. But she's in the Kardashian realm. You marry a guy like Trump and you are going to live in his vortex, and the public will have their opinion, and they will voice it without hesitation. She can leave it any time she wants.

...not from defamation laws. Melanie Trump isn't yet writing the nation's laws.

But it looks like she needs a new line of work, so why not?

It's a by-product of one of my least favorite DU features, "maximum characters allowed in a subject line."

I think we know who Melania is without having to see "Trump," so I removed that, and now "lawsuit" fits.

the most unhappiest face. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel sorry for her at all. She more than likely married him for the money so she should be happy that she has the life of a queen. As for being FLOTUS, she in no way can compare to genuine ladies we have had in the past. She's just a gold digger, nothing more.

The non-verbals scream it, she has been absolutely miserable from day one, she wants nothing to do with it.

That is why she is holed up in TT, and just to get it off my chest FUCK YOU to all the vapid, brain dead conseratives who spend inauguration day having micro orgasms over how perfect she was as the First Lady, comparing her to JOK ...

Just fuck you ...

That said, their family value is grifting, so she will do what they do ...

... she should be suing her doctors for malpractice instead of suing people for defamation. Was the "beauty" surgery poorly done, or is she simply addicted and making poor choices that compound themselves for each new "treatment".
