Conversation with a dear friend who lives in Italy

He's the son of a friend and we jokingly say he is my Italian boyfriend though he is 25 and I'm almost 60. LOL

Anyway..he hates Trump and sent me a joke image of him via facebook PM today. A long conversation started and in a nutshell he said he wanted me to know Europeans are on our side and know the good people here are fighting Trump. They see our protests on their TV and love how the American people have woke up and are fighting. He said they are doing their own bit there themselves by protests and pressuring their own elected officials to stop Trump when they can. It was refreshing to see a young man in Italy so aware and so ready to fight with us.

He also said I can come live over there if I had too.. I told him to be careful what he offers.

I felt better after talking to him and the youth of this world are making me proud.

2. I joke with my Portuguese friends

that I'm going to find a small hotel to buy and let people here have somewhere to go. It's not too much of a joke really.


I can handle living in the Algarve too.
