Thoughts on reporting in a less than open climate - The Nightmare Years

Triggered by today's news that the *rump administration is locking out major and respected news organizations.
The Nightmare Years was written by the Author of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, it details the inspiring lengths he and other journalists went through to cover the Nazi regime while working under heavy and oppressive censorship laws. I read it for the first time as a teenager and highly recommend it today.

I have the DVD but you need a link on the computer to play it. It is British and does not operate on our DVD players in this country. It is true I am beginning to have that same fear William Shirer had in Austria just before Hitler marched in. Sam Waterson was great as William Shirer. The problem here is where and how in America does this nightmare end.
