250 were there...Eight of us went from Alamogordo to Las Cruces NM for Indivisilbles ...

US Rep Steve Pearce is a Tea Party 'Darling'..."...Demonstrators — part of the progressive Indivisible movement — said they rallied at the office, 570 N. Telshor Blvd., because of a lack of an in-person town hall session this week by Pearce, R-N.M., in the southern New Mexico 2nd Congressional District. But they expressed frustrations about a variety of broader issues, ranging from health care to public lands and the political agenda of Republican President Donald Trump....The rally included a sidewalk demonstration; a fake town hall session in which a protester satirically acted as Pearce; and an attempt by one contingent of the group to file into Pearce's small office. But the attempt was blocked by security and a representative of the building's landlord. The landlord's representative, who identified himself only as Michael, repeatedly told protesters that the office and parking lot were private property and told them to go to the sidewalk. He said he'd call police, if they weren't cooperative. The group then moved to the sidewalk along Telshor Boulevard, which is in front of the strip mall..."

Pearce, meanwhile, tweeted on Friday: "It’s a busy day at my district office in Las Cruces! Come on by if you need any assistance. Our doors are open." The tweet drew criticism from protesters.
