A Missoula man who recently worked as a political appointee in the Obama administration is the latest to enter the field of Democrats angling to replace U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke.
Dan West, 30, most recently worked in Washington, D.C., advocating in Congress for Obama's NASA budget.
West said he served until the final day of Obama's second term.
West said he intends to focus on improving affordability and accessibility to education, maintaining access to public lands and investing in statewide infrastructure.
