Republicans investigating allegations of foreign involvement of their own party is insane.

I know the panel is technically supposed to be bipartisan but it clearly is not. At any rate when the allegations involve questions of loyalty to your country of your own party you clearly have to have an independent investigative body involved. Otherwise it's like asking athletes suspected of doping, or students suspected of cheating on a test, to investigate themselves.
