the fucking republicans are so forgiving when shit happens on their watch.
this is scarborough talking about the yemen raid where a navy seal and civilians were killed.

(297,187 posts)determined that the mission wasn't properly prepared for.. and they gained nothing with their rush to raid.
And, one Navy SEAL is dead for it.. how dare he dismiss it so lightly.

The phony bitch beside him pretends to be a Democrat, give me a break. She throws the Dems a bone then sticks it to us whenever it's about something important. She voted for Hillary like she "doesn't get on her knees for scarborough.

(68,556 posts)The president sent our people into harms way for political reasons without using proper intelligence...it really is manslaughter if you think about it. Also, three other Seals are injured and many civilians....

(65,010 posts)The helicopter crash in Iran was used as a weapon for 30 years. And, apparently the president was supposed to know that the helicopter they used was not designed for desert warfare in high winds. The generals didn't have to know. Only the president.

(13,340 posts)it is reasonable to ask what went into the decision to press ahead with the decision.
The military often conducts "lessons learned" reviews after an event, especially if the event was problematic. It's part of identifying problems, and trying to ensure they do not repeat mistakes. Even if someone is not to blame, it's important to understand why things went wrong. And if someone IS to blame, it's important to know that too.

(13,340 posts)Obama declined to approve the mission because he did not see a potential benefit big enough to justify the risk. Risk analysis is an important part of the job of being President, and GOOD risk analysis requires the ability to consume and process data.
Trump makes decisions based on nothing other than what he thinks might benefit him at the moment. He believed launching such a strike would make look strong and bold, and he disregarded the risk.
The man is absolutely unfit for office.

(28,254 posts)How many hours of the Joe & Mika Review were devoted to non-stop shrieking about Benghazi? And now it's "Every military mission is not going to be perfect"? I'm surprised I can still register outrage over this, but here I am......
