Got home from my concert - scanned news sites - and one word comes to mind.
Normalization.

one of his thoughts - "I can't in good conscience not add here that the speech was strewn with demonstrably false claims. But we expect this now."
But shit I read elsewhere - Van Jones crying? "with this speech he became president"?
I knew this would happen and it was utterly predictable - because the media is largely incapable of doing anything like a competent job.

BTW, love your username. Unfortunately, it probably won't last very long. 
Then again, my liver probably won't either with Trump in office. I swear, this is may be the first time in history where the population is aging faster than the president occupant of 1600 Pennslvania.
