I know what happened to Van Jones. It's all explained in the movie Get Out (Semi Spoiler Alert)

A young African American man visits his European American girlfriend's family estate where he learns that many of its residents, who are black, have gone missing, and he soon learns the horrible truth when another frantic African-American warns him to "get out". He soon learns this is easier said than done.

In the movie a malevolent white family uses their daughter in a honeypot scheme to lure young African American men to their secluded mansion where they are hypnotized , lobotomized, and turned into mind slaves. That's what happened to poor Van.







Maybe it's Jeffrey Lord doing the hypnotizing and lobotomizing.

3. It is an interesting analogy, but the fact is the media, and its performers have mostly

been superficial clods.

Just looking at the racists, sexist, xenophobes, that make up the trump administration, along with the appointments to the agencies they want to destroy, should tell any thinking person where they are coming from

4. The fascist method of operation is manipulation of emotion. Van Jones is lost to the Resistance

unless or until he has another emotional epiphany.

Others will also be lost to democracy and rule of law. When fascism takes root in a country, people with a strong desire to be rational as well as emotion in politics, are often shocked to see friends and neighbors turn fascist.

The profile of these lost souls is as follows. They primarily followed a strong leader who fulfilled the emotionally. them rather than to a set of principles. Their political will to act is primarily invested in a person, a strong charismatic leader rather than the in Constitution.

Unless Van Jones's emotional swoons since Election Day are due to a brain tumor, I would waste no me attention on him.
