The entire inner circle is gushing over conning the nation. What fun!

I keep thinking of that W.C. Fields movie title, "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break". That's where we are. The Trumpies are giddy with success.

I have no doubt this actually occurred behind the scenes. Trump himself said he gave himself a C on messaging. Last night was nothing more than a way to soften his image, appear like he really wants reconciliation for the country, and hide the real agenda behind his calls for peace and compromise.
