My sister & first brother are deaf (RH Factor incompatibility), my youngest brother is hearing(scientists had figured out how to prevent damage by his birth); the 4 of us created a hand sign/finger spelling so we could swear in front of our hearing mother, our mother caught first brother using the signs and demanded, semi humorously he go wash his hands.
