It was knitted by a woman in Maine. It is lovely and warm but now it's a little too warm outside to wear it. But I'll do it anyway. I am so proud of it...

(34,377 posts)In February. We had thunderstorms all night long. Scary. Yeah, climate change is a liberal hoax. ARRGH!
It's supposed to cool down in the 30's, so maybe I'll get to wear it a day or two before the temps go back up into the 50's.

(11,686 posts)What do you make them with?

(4,492 posts)Hoping to move there in the next 2 years. I ran an IE for a state senate campaign in Vancouver and fell in love with the area.
I make them with standard yarn. Most of them are acrylic yarn (which is 99% of the yarn you find at a craft store). I have 5 shades of pink available as well as other colors.
In the next 24 hours, I'm donating $5 from every hat to PP in a hateful pastor's name.

(11,686 posts)I am not able to get one until the 3rd. I have $3 to my name at the moment. We can talk then about it. I can tell you that I could not find one in my county.
