The current mess cannot continue. It is geo-politically dangerous and internally so divisive the country cannot function as a civil society.

They are both Constitutionally prohibited from serving another term as President, even as a "co-President."

They remedies are found in the Constitution: Impeachment, or the 25th Amendment.

It's very clear Trump will remain President until at least 2020 unless he is removed from office by impeachment in the House & conviction in the Senate OR under the guidelines per the 25th Amendment.

Alternatively, Trump's health no longer allows him to act in the role of President, in which case Pence takes over.

5. Pence assumes presidentcy, selects a prominent moderate Democrat as VP.

Immediately gives speech he will govern as a moderate for the remaining term and will not run in 2020.

Otherwise we are in for very dark times. I expect they will put party before the country.
