If it could be conclusively proved that she doesn't exist, I would think that at least some Trump supporters would ask themselves "if they lied to us about that, what else are they lying about?" They answer is pretty much everything, of course. But they'd probably make some convoluted attempt to rationalize it.

In any case, if she does exist, how hard could it be to find her? She either a) no longer works for the Trump organization, b) works at Trump Tower, or c) works at the White House (or some combination of b and c).

Do we think this fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants administration still keeps logs of who comes and goes from the White House? That could be interesting on a number of levels.

There have been a few more important issues before us then and now. Sessions lying under oath is far more relevant than the location of the Trump campaign flunky scapegoat. It really doesn't matter who wrote the speech. It is very doubtful that Melania wrote it.
