Where he goes after that, again, I have no idea. It think it's important that the president's whereabouts not be known 24/7. However, if we find out he's hiding and eluding the press to allow time for his allies to get their stories straight, then we'll find this out very soon.

What's better for the WH? I suspect they don't want a sitting official to be seen testifying in televised hearings or exiting FBI headquarters.

Trump only asked for Flynn's resignation because he lied to Trump's own people. It's not a good comparison, Trump doesn't care about lying to the public or to Congress.
