a Depression-era farm boy, joined the Marines, fought at Iwo Jima and Chosin - and we have to show this poseur "respect"?

Nah. Btw, I dropped Stephen Miller a post card last week suggesting, as he is so young and strong, that he's wasting his talents as a writer/thinker/consultant, and should just go join the United States Marine Corps, ride on down to Parris Island, get some skills behind all his yapping, y'know, and BE A MAN. I await his reply!

My father was also a Depression era farmer from New Brunswick who came down to Maine to enlist in the Navy in 1943.

In my view, Trump is a complete phony. He believes in nothing so nothing is sacred to him.

All high ranking visitors/ship riders get them - it was a popular "tradition" back when I was active in the Reagan era, so it's nothing new.

Most ship's stores and exchanges have "Naval" gear that can be purchased for civilians or for use in civilian clothes.
