Taking an oath is not a joke. It is not something that can be brushed aside.

They swear you in when you appear in court. If you lie under oath, you have committed perjury. You can go to jail for that.

Same thing when you take an oath before Congress. Lots of people appear before Congress to give their opinions and are not sworn in. You're asked your opinion, not to state facts as you know them. Being sworn in is a whole different level of speaking before Congress.

Sessions swore an oath to tell the whole truth. He didn't. He lied. End of story. He must resign or be fired. tRump already fired one top advisor for lying to Pence. Surely, he can't stick with another liar whose fucking job is that of top law enforcement agent in the country. Sessions lied to the entire Senate.

He can't protect him from anything so... I guess he'll be out the door by Monday. Hope the bar association goes for disbarment for perjury.
