1. Al asked a question to get Jeff to say something he didn't want to admit

So Jeff said something he shouldn't have instead of any version of the truth that would require an explanation.

9. Sessions is an attorney. He knew better than to

babble on about himself when that wasn't the question asked.

Of course, just how Fox actually spins this doesn't matter. Anyone who saw Sessions on the evening news and won't accept that he screwed himself over would grab onto any line that denied it.

10. Jeff assumed he was still a Senator and being on home turf he didn't need to be careful

Silencing Warren reinforced his delusion, but his lawyer brain has atrophied and he didn't think he was at risk.

WJC lawyered up for Ken Starr's grilling, but the less than judicial climate before Congress was only concerned with appearances. That's a lesson Sessions is learning the hard way.

3. The great irony here is that FRANKEN is the only non-lawyer on that committee

He pointed this out in another confirmation hearing that I saw.

Douchey argument itself really mocks Sessions (he is a lawyer) but the point their viewers were supposed to take away was that it was a long hard question. The viewer then fills in Session's victim status themselves.

What Al should have asked was, "Now, Jeff, if any of you and Donnie's buddies talked to the Russkis about this campaign, what would y'all do?"

Then old Beauregard might have understood what that Yankee Al was trying to say better and not have gotten all confused about it - and let things slip he didn't mean to say.

If it looks silly when children blame others for their bad behaviors, it's more ridiculous when a grown man dodges his responsibilities and tries the same stupid blame-game stunt.

navy seal and yemeni citizens killed due to Trump fucking up - blame the black guy who didn't want to go through with the raid in the first place.

an attorney general can't keep his stories and lies straight - blame the jew who asked him a question.

had those 4x8 Trump banners hanging from their front porch and for those that have those "Thank You Jesus" signs in their yard, they eat this shit up.
These are the voters that would vote for Trump and or back Trump if he stood up and said..I am a member of the Nazi Party..The people that want to hear this shit, they crave this shit and they believe and will broadcast facts like" it is the Democrats that want to destroy our Democracy".They will support these anti-American news broadcasts like Limbaaugh and Hannity and idiots like this and close their ears to actual facts that prove them wrong....This is the republican ideology

Think our Democracy is safe...Think again There are those that would rather see a dictatorship than to have Democrats in charge..Think we are safe from another election theft? Think again

I believe that is against Cross exam 101. Never answer a question which is not asked.

Franken did not ask him if he had contact with the Russians so why did he answer that question?
