Speaking only for myself, besides getting only words that can't be broadcast on radio and TV, it would be uninteresting...

*45 is such a narcissist that EVERYTHING is about him. He can't imagine that talking with foreign governments would be monitored because of the foreign governments rather than him. If there were to be a parade and he steps outside to see it, I imagine he is thinking "Look at all these people who showed up to see me".
