1. My thoughts on DJT tweets: Trump feels cornered. Now aware of surveillance he believes came from his TT office via FBI wiretaps.

2. DJT tweet storm was his worst fears "text-ualized". He's terrified FBI/NSA knows truth of exactly what was said in Russian Hack meetings

3. Accusing Obama/claiming "Watergate" scandal is a counterattack. Reveals dangerous seriousness of actual truth. Exposure must be imminent

D'OH - he just tweeted this:
4.DJTs fears means he is or believes he is a FISA target & doesn't know what Intelligence/Justice dep has on him. This is his greatest fear.

(34,661 posts)Trump in his lashing out at people now,but what happens on Monday or the days following. Remember,it is Bannon and others who need to be monitored.
Something will go down next week as a staged event in a effort to change the Story Line for the News Cycle. Donnie is the today News cycle and that is all he cares about.

I had to translate to read, being slow and all!:
"Many surveillance targets don't know origin of sources and flail (get buggy) in anger (accuse/killing staff) etc. Trump is caught and knows it. Buggy"

(47,427 posts)more than we do, he could believe that intelligence knows far more than they do. Trump will end up revealing more in his denials, than any surveillance could. "Puppet, no puppet. No puppet. You're a puppet" - just like a child who gets caught breaking a window.

(4,033 posts)Trump doesn't feel that he has done anything wrong. He is so used to getting his own way for all of his life and it being OK, that he can't make the shift that there are actually checks on his power as 'The Most Powerful Man in The World'. Remember, this is a guy who routinely breaks the law, reneges on contracts, sexually assaults women, and never ever has to pay a price. He is furious that 'little people' aren't bowing down before him and doing what he wants - whether it is 'so-called' judges, 'so-called' former Presidents (who were not born in the US), a so-called Congress, Justice Dept, or even his Cabinet Secretaries.
He just doesn't understand. He thinks that a President can simply order a wire tap and: "So let it be written, so let it be done". He also expects any subordinate to be ready, willing, and able to fall on his sword at a moment's notice to protect him and that's why he's furious at Sessions for recusing himself. He expected Sessions to take the heat and, as AG, keep everyone away from investigating the Great One.
The man just doesn't get it and doesn't understand it.

(959 posts)Drumpf has always maintained TOTAL control of his domain, thru non-disclosures, lawsuits, payoffs, etc. No doubt threat of violence as well. He has always felt in control and above reach. NOW for the first time in his miserable life, he cannot control the events that surround him. He no longer is secluded in his tower; he can no longer have his mouthpiece Cohen send threats to his enemies; he cannot control the people who have access. Perfect recipe for a meltdown.

(13,524 posts)with Chris last month...
"Christie ate with Trump at the White House on February 14, and afterward, he described the experience while hosting a radio show, saying the President made him eat the meatloaf.
"This is what it's like to be with Trump. ... He says, 'there's the menu, you guys order whatever you want,' and then he says, 'Chris, you and I are going to have the meatloaf,'" Christie said. "The meatloaf was good."
