It has been a national disaster that Trump was selected in the first place. The election was stolen with the help of the MSM, Comey, the GOP leadership, the RNC et al. Election fraud was the key because the election was still close enough to steal.

The country looks like a nation of boobs even though Hillary still won the popular vote and only 25% actually voted for Trump. Trump embarrasses us every day and undercuts us internationally. We have lost so much respect globally it will now take years to repair.

Unless if the GOP finds some integrity and acknowledges Hillary is the rightful owner of the presidency, then has her sworn in through a constitutional mechanism (like Pence resigning, then Trump naming her VP and then resigning), we have no "good" options. That said, Trump's impeachment will be good for us in that it will put a stain on the GOP they won't be able to wash off for decades.

Just as it took many decades to repair the nation after the civil war, and even that was not done perfectly.

Nothing lasts forever. All empires eventually decline and fall. Maybe we are seeing the beginning of the end for the USA?
