the investigation.

He still has his fan club at the FBI. Although shielding a Russian Spy might be frowned upon by some. Still.

and that is why tRump went balistic. He may have some fans at the FBI, yet many are going down.

Ryan and McConnell are in this up to their collective wazzoo's. Trump is safe as long as these two are standing.

After the 2018 elections, but ONLY IF the Dems win one or both houses-- the best of reasons to work our asses off and get Dems elected.

Ryan and McConnell do not hold that power.

Pretty sure they will be going down as well. Sessions is a wimp and covering his ass, yet he may well go down with the ship.

But I think Sessions recusing himself was a way to distance himself from 45. I think 45 saw it as disloyalty and that is why he is so pissed.

I suspect that Franken KNEW that Sessions would lie when asked a question about communications with Russia. It was almost scripted. This was a case of Franken playing chess to Sessions' checkers.

I nonetheless expect Sessions to ignore his own recusal. Sessions is with Trumpy all weekend. Trumpy will use Sessions to out leakers.

As soon as Sessions recused himself everyone who believed they would be protected came forward and revealed they had contact with Russia. There may be other lines of defense, but Sessions was certainly the strongest.

My question: is that collusion to obstruct justice?
