When you are someone who goes with your gut and assessing nefarious types it happens. Van Jones has given us the love army amongst other such calls. He's not perfect but then the best op ed publishers are right at best 75% of the time at the top (Krugman). Pundits are not always right. They are not journalist. I think the disdain for Van Jones from many DUers is waaay overdone. I didn't agree with Jones saying Trump became "presidential" during that speech either.

But I'm not prepared to crucify the man. He roundly criticized Trump during the campaign and after the election right up until that point.

To speculate that Van will morph into a "fulsome supporter" of Trump is premature and, IMO, unfair. Jeez, you'd think he became Sean Hannity or something.

You have to remember, everyone on the right has surely been accusing Van of being anti-Trump and totally biased against him all this time.

I hope most people judge Van on his words from this point forward. There's really no need to stomp him into the ground. Many people did that with Michael Moore and Moore made them eat their words.
