Haberman: Trump never shoulders blame, kicked aides off plane during campaign as a time-out

Maggie Haberman has been tweeting some interesting background on Trump's behavior. Yesterday morning she reminded Twitter followers that Trump taped phone calls in his business offices, and that was the prism through which he viewed whether he miight have been wiretapped.

During the campaign, Trump would routinely kick aides off the plane as a time-out. "They hate me because they hate you," was a refrain.

As people responding to her on Twitter pointed out, this is classic psychological abuse.

from a switchboard he had installed in his bedroom
but I am now wondering if he tapes calls thru it.
cell phones are not ovrheard, just calls from the desk phones in the place
which also indicates it is a much older system.
