He can't take responsibility for anything. He doesn't have anyone to blame anymore. There is no more LIL Marco or Low Energy Jeb. He is realizing that now he is the enemy. He is Corrupt Donald. Corrupt Donald is lashing out. And for this, Democrats and patriots must rejoice. We're getting close. Don't fear for Obama. He is two things Corrupt Donald is not. Obama is tough and honest. Obama has nothing to fear. Not even Corrupt Donald.

(3,077 posts)For President Obama. He has put up with GOP bullshit for 8 years. He is tough. He sat back because he knew it had to all play out. I am worried for the majority. Sick and tired of predictions, I just want Trump gone. And Pence gone. And the rest of them gone. I want normalcy and sanity.

(6,355 posts)It's in their nature as a defense mechanism for the reality that the world is not perfect. To keep the internal fantasy of personal perfection and superiority, they need to always have a scapegoat in their pocket. When their normal defenses to reality start to fray, they can always reach for the scapegoat. It's what enable the fantasy that they're still perfect and in control.
Never before has a US President spent so much time saying "I'm a victim" or "The Buck stops somewhere over there"...but it's classic malignant narcissist behavior. That's the malignant part - having to blame someone/anyone for reality.
