A Reminder: The More Crimes Trump Seems to Get Away With, the More His "Outlaw" Base Adores Him

I have posted this a gazillion time, so why not a gazillion and one? Trump is adored by a bunch of self styled outlaws. The more he breaks the law and seems to get away with it, the more they admire and support him. The GOP establishment is afraid to take him on, because the Outlaw Base would see that as a violation of the Outlaw Code---treachery---and they would make the GOP pay. And the Outlaw Base is armed and vocal and can get very, very violent. Think Brown Shirts. There is a reason Hitler had to get rid of them.

So, stop expecting any Republican to do shit about Trump. It will have to be the Democrats. To the Outlaw Base, Democrats fighting Trump is fair and square.

And Democrats, by all means keep reminding the sane 60-70% of Americans that Trump is a criminal and that they should hate and despise him. But unless you address the myths that keep the Outlaw Base supporting Trump, he isn't going anywhere. He is like a Mafia Don. You have to expose him as the cowardly, self serving tool that he is in order to force him out of office.

Stephen King had it right in "Dead Zone." That is how is you kill a fascist's political career.

Congress may decide *not* to impeach him.

They are free to let it slide if they wish.

and financed an illegal war with drug money. Nothing shames them, even W gets treated like an idiot child.
They are truly the party of no responsibility.
We need to take away the elephant symbol and replace it with the three monkeys.

I have two employees who voted for him who are very unhappy right now. They didn't expect all this baggage and distraction. They thought he'd be more Presidential. They both say they made a mistake although they couldn't stomach Hillary.

If/When the market drops big time and a recession starts you'll see a TON of erosion in his approvals. Only then do I see the Republicans backing off their bootlicking.

If the US economy sinks, Trump will blame China and the base will start lynching anyone who looks Asian. And bankers. Jewish bankers.

If we end up in a shit storm of a mideast war as Russia's mercenary army, and they start drafting the Outlaw Bases kids, Trump's surrogate will blames the Jews again. And the Muslims.

If Neo Nazis commit another Oklahoma City, Trump and Co. will have a Muslim on ice in a truck (think "Long Kiss Goodnight&quot to blame it on.

The longer Trump and Co. have to get hunkered down in their bunker the harder it will be to get them out, because they will have accepted a lot of money from a lot of rich people and owe them a lot of favors.

The GOP thought they had a good thing going. Use Trump to get Pence into an office he could never hope to win. They did not count on Trump being Trump. Trump is no Charles Foster Kane. Trump is Al Capone, and if he goes out, he will take the whole damn country with him.

I blame the Republican establishment and Exxon and Tillerson and Russia and Putin and Putin's Russian Mafia Mob masters. There is smart---and then there is people smart. And none of them has people smart. If they did, they would have known that Trump was a time bomb that will blow up in all our faces. They are, the words of the immortal E. Emmet Walsh (from the film Blood Simple) Money Simple. They let their greed get in the way of their common sense. Like Enron on steroids.

9. The old adage--steal $10 and you're a criminal, steal $1 billion and you're a hero

An indictment and their hero led away in handcuffs (with Melania caught on camera quietly leaving the Tower for an "undisclosed location&quot is what it'll take. Negative headlines are just spun as fake news. A front page photo of The Donald in handcuffs, with Bannon, Pence, Spicer and Sessions being led away in handcuffs right behind him--under indictment by Republican prosecutors and arrest orders issued by Republican law enforcement--THEN you'll get some reflection by the fanatics, not before.
