People haven't talked ENOUGH about crosschecking, voter purging, or about those 800 voting places closed down in NC or about other irregularities concerning Dems across this country during the 2016 GE.

Besides what we know, who knows what else the ruskies did to affect the outcome of our elections? If we just take the 3 "usually" blue states Hillary only lost by a combined 77,000 or so votes: WI, MI, PA., and then think about the hundreds of thousands of Dem votes that were purged/crosschecked from the voter roles in those states which more than likely shouldn't have been victims of crosschecking or voter purging.

Some on even the left have said that if Hillary had lost to tRumputin by a landslide, then that would have showed that the "fix was in." I disagree. ALL that's needed to be president is for a presidential nominee to win the Electoral College by 270 votes, and we saw STILL how close the election was even though Hillary lost all 3 usual blue states. Hillary was winning the presidency as late as November 7th, 2016 says most polling. Ross Fiengold who had a large lead was still by most accounts clinging to a 1-2 point lead over that dumb ass Johnson--even with all of that Koch Bros. money infused into the race by them to Johnson, tons of independent votes going Johnson's way late (Some say that Indy's didn't break for Johnson late due to irregular voter exit polling info, but I digress) and then SOMETHING else happened "late" which gave Johnson a 6-point lead then the Senate hold. That same SOMETHING happened nearing election day in WI which cost Hillary that state. I've not even mentioned OH. or FL. or what "usually" happens to Dem votes/voting/voters in those 2 states as of 2004 (Ohio) and 2000 (FL.).

My biggest fear heading into 2018 and of course further down the road in 2020 is HOW will a tRumputin DOJ/kkk sessions & a GOP voter suppress Dems this next time around? The rules to keep voting machines up to date and current is has been done away with, and even if the Dems show extremely credible evidence of voter suppression, kkk sessions won't investigate it or he'll take his sweet time, or he'll investigate and say that there's NOTHING wrong. We KNOW his feelings about civil and voter rights as it relates to minorities. HOPEFULLY if SOMETHING irregular or against the law happens concerning voting/Dems, they'll get a favorable ruling by a judge in whichever court a voting rights ruling is ruled on, because sans a ruling like that, they'll get NO fairness or relief from a tRumputin DOJ or from a kkk AG sessions.

10. The whole Trump-Russian scandal

is a huge distraction from all the awful things the Rs are doing, now that they have control, like dismantling the EPA, Dept. of Education, whatever it is they're coming up with in place of Obamacare, decimating abortion rights, and on and on. the Russia scandal is a big thing, but we musn't let them get away with their truly horrific agenda.

12. Exactly - You've Made My Point....

the Repug agenda is undoing most all the progress we've made in all the areas you mentioned and more. If we didn't have to spend time on this Russian thing we would be posting about these issues. The MSM would be talking about these issues as well. Now their main focus is on Russia.

Remember in 2018 we'll be running against the Repugs - not really Trump. If we are to take back the Senate and House we'll have to put our focus on the areas you mentioned - otherwise - the Repugs and Trump will have been successful at distracting us with this Russian and I'm not sure if that will be enough to get back the majorities.

We can't make 2018 all about Trump and not all the other damage the Repugs will have done. We made that mistake in the 2016 general election. We can't afford to make the same mistake in 2018.

I know this Russian thing may take out Trump. But even with him gone we will still have to deal with the Repugs.

Those are not in doubt at this point, while we have very little hard data on the Russian connection as yet.

I do hope people with more connections than I have are following the money, especially the money laundering charges at his casinos.
