I would think Obama's staff examined the White House for bugs before

Trump moved in.

Carl Rove in Texas planted a big in his office in Texas and then complained about being bugged. Maybe Trump is trying the same scurrilous tactic.

attached to the phones on the premises any more - wiretapping by the government is done remotely by tapping into central phone company switching equipment, which is why a warrant is needed.
