Trying to support the local paper...
It's been a couple of years since I last subscribed to our local paper. Their rightwingness got to be just way too much. Lately, following the November debacle, local stuff has been ramping up and the paper, such as it is, is the only source of coverage. So, I bit the bullet and purchased a subscription.
The first articles and editorial that I wanted to read dealt with a recent city council meeting in which the sole Democrat on council requested a simple resolution in favor of being decent human beings in the face of the increasing nastiness that Trump has invited; it bears mentioning that said councilor is also the only Hispanic councilor in a city with a very significant and growing Hispanic population with a long history in the area. The rest of the council took umbrage at what they deemed a demand for sanctuary city status (nope, it wasn't), and the mayor started yelling at her. Then another councilor, agreeing with the mayor, actually told her that she was in the wrong community (nevermind that she was born and raised here). Holy crap.
So, I read the articles and watched the video of the event. Then, like an idiot, I clicked on the comments section. This is what awaited (I removed the identifiers because I don't want to get mugged by this putz).
(We were) made great because we demand ASSIMILATION into our exceptional nation. ... city council need to put these Democrats (Liberals, Leftists, Progressives, Statists, Fascists) in their place and make them sit in the back of the room so they can for once, listen and learn what made this nation great.
Democrats continually hack at the US Constitution, changing it to fit their despotic agenda. They are a tricky breed, soley focused on tricky wording such as "mean spirited", "hateful speech", "compassionate villiage", "rascist", "islamophobia". Truth is, a Liberal is usually created out of a fatherless family and intimidates easily by the sheer visual of a real man or real woman. A Liberals life is based on nothing but false pretense of jealousy, hatefullness and contempt for the real American. They hate military simply because they know they would cowar at defending our nation in time of war. A Liberal intimidates easily simply because they don't think they could match the greatness, dignity and epic beliefs a real American posesses. A Liberal forgets that our constitution says ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. Give it a try Libbies, we don't bite, we would love to show you our way. We Conservatives really are the friendliest, most compassionate and giving people on the earth because we fear and live (try to) by GOD.
Because the main basis of open borders is to create more Democrat voters.
I'm thinking that his dictionary ignored the warning and took the brown acid. And he's posting comments to everything but the obituaries. This is going to be --- interesting.
