Mika Brzezinski is Officially Done With Donald Trump: 'This Presidency is Fake and Failed'

On a day replete with doom and gloom on Morning Joe, co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski closed out the show with some grim analysis.

“I think we reached a new low this weekend,” said Scarborough of President Donald Trump’s claim that his campaign in Trump Tower was wiretapped by the administration of his predecessor, Barack Obama. Brzezinski was even tougher.

“I had hope and an open mind and I have lost hope completely and my mind is closed,” she said definitively. “This presidency is fake and failed.” The assessment comes at a fraught time for the young Trump administration. Engulfed by scandal almost since Day one, the latest imbroglio suggests either that President Obama broke the law or a FISA court judge believed there was probable cause to order a wiretap.

Intelligence officials, including former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, and current FBI Director, James Comey, have said the tap never happened.

I think it's just another sheer, malicious lie pulled out of his very large and orange ass. He was pissed already by Sessions lies coming out and Sessions recusal, then saw this story in Breitbart and so decided to disrupt any real Russia investigation by siccing his compliant and lazy R's legislators onto this dead-end. He's very aware he lied and is really pissed that everyone knows this is just BS. He is the president, he could prove this himself if it was real. Only it's not real, so can't be proved by him, so he demands (tells) Congress to verify something that is unverifiable, and do this first. Can't have them researching the truth or he wouldn't be president. The truth in his case is awfully damn ugly.
