I figured out why Rs hate the poor so much

Whether you're a Congressman, a president, a paid surrogate or an overpaid talking head, if you have an R next to your name, you hate the poor.

I think I figured out why that is. It goes like this:

All of those Rs mentioned above are unexceptional people. They're sort of D-list players when it comes to the ranking of human beings who have something of value to share with their fellow beings. They're not the people who pop into one's head when thinking about who would make a good president, or housing secretary, or energy czar, etc. They're not the people you would expect to see on a panel discussion of a subject that required any knowledge below the surface.

We know it...and believe it or not, they know it, too. Does a Rick Perry really believe he is on the same level as his predecessors in the Energy job? Do Tea Party R Congressmen really think they're on the level of storied Congressmen from the past? Do RW pundits and newscasters really believe they're on the level of Edward R Murrow or Walter Cronkite?

The answer is, no - they don't believe it. They realize as do we that they are in large part fakirs who have no business occupying their positions, or in earning the obscene salaries they earn.

And THAT leads them to wonder how other people can't achieve A-list status in life when they - the untalented losers whose only claim to fame and fortune is that R next to their name - have achieved it with no talent and almost no effort. "Hey, I'm a major loser, but I'm rich. You're better than me as a person, but you're poor. What's wrong with you?"

And there you have it.

They did NOT earn their earnings, they stole them from the poor. We would not be as poor if it was not for their criminal greed.

The kids in the neighborhood fought one another sometimes, but they didn't seem to want to crush the spirit of anyone.

When I started junior high school, I was suddenly exposed to a large number of students who looked down their noses at others. It was a shock to my system and, based on their expressions in the hallways, I think other kids from my elementary school felt the same way.

As time passed, I recognized a pattern. The most judgmental and sneering kids tended to originate from a particular elementary school (one of the largest ones in the district) in a neighborhood where many businessmen and managers lived.

There was yet another area, which was the wealthiest overall, where many doctors, lawyers and PhD's resided, and their children were some of the nicest (and academic-minded).

Edit: I mention this because Republicans seem to enjoy crushing the spirit of the less fortunate, and I've noticed the same kind of behavior among businessmen who are, in a way, our country's "economic enforcers" despite many of them possessing few real skills other than being handed the reigns of making decisions and worrying about people below them trying to attain more power and control.
