We have a presidency that is involved with business deals all around the world. We know very little about the legality of some of them. For a citizenry that has been accustomed to more information and more transparency in our leaders, this is very disturbing to the psyche of much of America. There is a natural fear of the unknown.

We see shadowy figures meeting secretly with the President and his friends and staff. It draws even more suspicion when we find out that it is usually the Russians they are meeting with. After we are told that the Russians hacked into our election system, we cannot bring ourselves to trust the president or his Party.

We cannot see behind the curtain. We are dependent upon the information that is given to us, although we know they are more likely to lie than to tell the truth.

We are like mushrooms. We are kept in the dark for a reason. We are sure of that.
