Am I wrong because I don't want Trump impeached?

I want him to last 4 years I want him to bring down the GOP like a dead weight, I want that party destroyed, for the last 50 years it has been a party built on lies that the gullible believe
I just recently read a book 31 days by Barry Werth it is about Gerald Ford's 1st month in office,
it made me think if Trump is impeached we get Pence, Pence is also a fuck but he doesn't come off as an imbecile, the press will legitimize him, he is just as bad as Trump but respectable

Ford had no business coming close to Carter in the 76' but the press made him the opposite of Nixon, a good guy ( which by most accounts he was,) but he did represent a reprehensible party, who should not have been rewarded with a 3rd republican

I don't want the repubs to have a chance in 20' I want it to be like 32'

It keeps getting referenced here but it's not really a thing. More from Snopes:

http://www.snopes.com/scouts-nullify-the-2016-election/

Every petition that is docketed at the U.S. Supreme Court, and remains on the docket, will eventually be distributed for a conference, usually held on a Friday. The date of the conference depends upon whether or not the Court is in session, in recess or on vacation. (There were 39 conferences during the 2011 Term.) Does this mean the Court will discuss each petition distributed during their conference? Absolutely not! Although this is a very closely guarded secret, I would estimate that, at best, only 20-25% of the petitions distributed for a given conference are actually discussed during that conference and few, if any, of those discussed, are granted. Those which aren’t discussed, become automatically denied.

There is NO , NONE, ZERO constitutional basis to overturn the election. NONE.
This is folly not grounded in current US law. You'd have to amend the Constitution to get this heard in this way.
It will be denied on the grounds for failure to state ground upon which relief can be granted.
There 's a greater change of Trump reversing course and becoming an empathetic progressive liberal before this happens.
I'm currently in law school. We've discussed this at length in class . It's not an option.

After Trump, Pence would appear to many as a more moderate and smart alternative.

Trump pays lip service to faith but likely doesn't believe it. His god is money. I really think that if someone like Bill Gates offered him a couple billion to do so, Trump would walk away from the presidency.

Pence, on the other hand, truly believes that God and Jesus are on his side and if he gets that bully pulpit he wouldn't let go for love or money. Nothing terrifies me more than having a full on, end times believin', hyper-fundamentalist religious zealot with his hand on the button and in a position to openly push his agenda.

That being said Pence is photogenic and pretty soft spoken which blunts the true image of him.

11. With all due respect, yes. Trump is a horror to democracy and must be excised immediately.

I worry if we're not proactive in getting Trump removed from office the type of damage he'll do to the country. If he brings down the Republican Party, unfortunately he'll bring down the rest of us with them. He's antithetical to democracy and unpredictable in his behavior and given his control of the military countless could die on a mere whim of his.

Pence might be horrible in his own way but if we impeach Trump, he'll be damaged goods--hopefully enough to bring down the GOP majority in 2018, and less volatile in terms of foreign relations. Any way you slice it, Ford lost and he lost in good part because of Nixon.

Pence will be just as bad is NOT a reason why trump should not be impeached:

1. violates the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause, which prohibits public servants from accepting anything of value from foreign states without congressional approval.

2. violated the First Amendment twice with his executive order banning travelers from certain majority Muslim nations, which violates the freedom of religion, and attacking the media as the "enemy of the people", which violates freedom of the press

3. Evidence that his campaign colluded with Russia during his presidential campaign.

There are other reasons also

You make a lot of good points. I am also skeptical of what seems like a strategy of looking for a reason to impeach. A lot of republicans were wanting to find a reason to impeach Obama. What should be a serious response to corruption has become a preemptive political solution to partisan discontent. If there is an investigation of something that meets the high crimes and misdemenor standard, I would definitely be cheering for that. But, looking for a reason only perpetuates the damage that taking it lightly in the 90s has done.

it was already too late to get him out.

Take a look at German history and what happened when Hitler came to power. It didn't take him long to get war started either. First he made an alliance with Austria by invading and taking it over. Then he invaded Czechoslovakia, and after that Poland. It was the beginning of World War II because Britain and France had no choice but to declare war on Hitler at that point.

Most of the Germans who voted for Hitler regretted it, but it was too late. He suspended elections in 1935 (I think it was) and there was no chance to vote him out after that. In for a penny, in for a pound.

We can handle Pence at a later date. First things first. He doesn't want to be president. He doesn't want the spotlight. Perhaps he did some things as well as
Trump. Republicans in the past have always had a problem paying taxes. They have always had big money and many never seemed to want to part with it. Point is
Trump first.
