U.S. Senators to Trump: Leave State Marijuana Laws Alone

This kind of flew under the radar in the last week or so but it's important and very interesting: A bipartisan group of nine U.S. Senators formally requesting that Trump leave marijuana laws to the states -- shouldn't be a problem given how much Republicans love "states' rights" -- and stand down on the saber rattling from Jeff Sessions and Sean Spicer on recreational use.

The letter is signed by the following senators: Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Ed Markey (D-MA), Brian Schatz (D-HA), Catherine Cortez Mast (D-NV), Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Michael Bennet (D-CO).

Only one republican

The publicans certainly can't have it both ways. Either your for states rights or your not. It isn't something that you can modify based on your prejudices.
