to not feel as though our country "traded down" last November. It's sort of hard to believe that our country keeps doing this. We should have progressed beyond the point where people like Donald Trump are considered viable candidates for the highest office in the land (and one of the highest in the world). How people get Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton put up for a vote and enough people choose a huckster with no experience and/or qualifications for being POTUS over a seasoned, experienced, and well-qualified pol will forever remain a mystery to me. It's like the whole office of the Presidency has been trivialized to the point that people think that they can elect just about anybody to the position now matter how suitable they are for the position. We all love "average man" Homer Simpson but I wouldn't ever vote for him for President (nor sanitation commissioner).
