and that the first person to talk would be the first to get out of jail.

The republicans in congress knew Nixon was guilty but they kept lying for him as long as they thought that the cover-up would hold. They didn't start jumping ship until after the truth came out publicly. We're not there yet, but we're heading that way.

I met Dean when he was in SoCal for his book tour. His talk went overtime, and he let anybody talk with him as long as they wanted. He is a very gracious, and extremely intelligent person. I fell in love with the guy that day.

The fact that Keith Olbermann featured him regularly on Countdown convinced me to witness his book talk first hand.

By the way, Conservatives without Conscience is a great, intelligent book. I recommend it. Even though it was written during Bush II, the authoritarian personality still lives in the GOP.
