How many thousands of Americans will actually DIE due to lack of medical care after losing insurance coverage? The estimates I've seen are in the range of 40,000 to 45,000 a year but the CBO report makes no mention of them.
How many will be forced into bankruptcy after being forced to spend their life savings for uncovered care. How many of them will lose their homes?
How many millions of Americans will suffer preventable pain and disability because they won't be able to afford routine care for treatable conditions?

(10,131 posts)estimated about 45,000 die per year without healthcare

So it's about 1,000 people dying per year for every million without healthcare.
Between now and 2026, that approximately works out to Paul Ryan's bill killing about 186,000 Americans due to them undercutting the ACA (Obamacare).
We spent trillions to get the terrorists who killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11 but we're supposed to look the other way when the equivalent to domestic terrorists kill 186,000 less fortunate Americans (who won't make the evening news) to line the pockets of the rich pricks who have been buying/hacking/gerrymandering the US elections.

This is a cattle drive to round up 186,000 poor souls at random, who have little idea their destiny is to be a mere statistic of Ryan's sick "healthcare" debacle while lining the pockets of the super rich who keep people like Ryan in power.
