The answer for me is no. I expected more, like some kind of break through information. This is only part, the accountant said so right in the beginning..no sources.. Rachel did not lie about having the tax return..Yes, she had it. But I expected something more than was presented. That is how I feel..

it's the attachments and supporting detail that have the real damage.

other candidates are generous with the information. they are responsive to questions like, hey, can you give us a breakdown of this "gross income" figure, how much was speaking fees, etc.?

donnie could simply dismiss all that and say, hey, i'm a rich guy, i have many very, very successful businesses, i make a lot of money, ok? and easily conceal whether or not any such income was russian, illegal, whatever.

similarly with "interest expense". he doesn't need to admit that any of his lenders are russian or loan sharks or mobsters of whatever.

the 1040 numbers don't tell us much we don't already know.

Even if BLOTUS released it himself as some sort of ruse to get people mad at Rachel or to deflect attention from his failing healthcare plan, his Russian Mobster-ism or his other assorted High Crimes and Misdemeanors, I. DON'T. CARE.

I'm not going to stop watching Rachel Maddow. And Rachel Maddow is not going to stop giving him hell every chance she gets.

What is he hiding? Why should we move on from his taxes? Why can't we continue to pressure Congress to do their damned jobs and investigate his criminal ass?

and......she is one of the best around. I also agree..what is he hiding?, and that was clearly discussed on Rachel's show tonight. (the fact that Drumpf is hiding something) Yes, I expected more, but I sure hope this does not hurt Rachel in any way. At least at DU there was a hype that there would be some definite answers to some of the Tax issues of Drump. I do not think there were any real answers. Also, the lead up to the taxes themselves, was very good. Background info about Drump's connections to the Russian mob were restated and made very clear. I sure hope more comes out..and I hope that this does not hurt Rachel in any way..

We are an emotional bunch. I would list the times we were collectively outraged because things didn't turn out like we wanted but I love DU and I too, am a hopeless dreamer.

Besides, I already called one of my neighbors an asshole today. He likes to spew racist, sexist bullshit right by my window and his hateful whining woke me up from a nap. I am tangling my fate enough already.
