Cecile Richards was FANTASTIC on NPR's All Things Considered yesterday

Here's the story about Trump's plan to defund Planned Parenthood.

It's a brief piece and well worth hearing from start to finish, but Ms. Richards had two moments of particular brilliance:

1. The commentator repeated, in so many words, the propaganda that people are opposed to Planned Parenthood and framed a question on that basis. Richards immediately called him out for that false premise, pointing out that a large majority of Amercans do support Planned Parenthood's mission.

2. Noting that, in Trump's words, "the money would flow to Planned Parenthood" if only they ended their abortion services, the commentator asked if she'd agree to that, to which she replied "absolutely not."

She was confident, knowledgeable and resolute. In short, she was the embodiment of a Republican's worst fears in a woman. Even worse, she was pleasant and conversational throughout the whole thing. She's a terrific advocate for this terrific organization.

Give it a listen.
