A picnic during the age of dinosaurs would have been a feast, but not the way one would think. You did not only have to worry about what was on the ground, but what was flying above you as well. The flying monsters were as big a threat at the ones on the ground.

Flying reptiles were the size of small birds to huge giants. The largest discovered pterosaur was up to 40 feet until recently. Paleontologists have recently discovered tracks of a pterosaur that was truly gargantuan. It was probably the largest creature ever to fly.

A true fossil has not yet been found but pterosaur tracks have been found. These tracks are so large that the postulated animal would have had a wing span of up to 70 feet and possibly larger. And you can be sure it was probably NOT A VEGETARIAN.

What a sight would such a creature would be. Think about the food bill.
