Safe to say there isn't a better healthcare plan: Or someone would have suggested it.

Single payer and Medicare all get good reviews, so, unless we go there, this mess will continue, and people will suffer and hospitals will continue to fail.

We will have socialized medicine one way or the other: Either we pro-actively we plan for more economical delivery systems, or people just keep going to emergency rooms when they're in crisis.

At least the mandate/marketplace part. Obama put a tax on the rich, that's the part they hate. But they can't say that, and in their simpleminded messaging they bashed the whole thing.

Now they got nothing.
