I didn't know Ossoff was in such a good position.

Trump only won Georgia’s 6th district by 1 percentage point. That’s the slimmest margin of victory for a Republican in years -- we can flip this seat from red to blue.

I get excited at the prospect of just cutting the Repub lead in red areas. I've supported Ossoff for this reason. But, hey, this looks much more promising than I had thought. Join the crowd! Add to the momentum!! Let's send a message!

This is an e-mail I got from Daily Kos.

we don’t have to wait until 2018 -- or 2020 -- to elect a progressive Democrat to Congress.

Jon Ossoff’s special election this spring is the FIRST competitive congressional race of the Trump era. Winning would send shockwaves through Congress and hand Donald Trump his first electoral defeat.

Add your your name to support Jon Ossoff for Congress and ensure a Democratic win in Georgia!

Civil rights icon John Lewis has already endorsed Jon’s historic campaign. Now, we need you to join us too.

Add your name to join Jon Ossoff's campaign today!

Keep fighting,

The other Dems in the race should withdraw before the primary to help us reach that 50.1% threshold. LonePirate Mar 2017 #2

and the only commercial running against him shows him doing things most college kids have done. He comes across as serious, and the others come across as stupid, with a lot of middle school type slogans like "Votin Slotin", which is all over my neighborhood.

I'm sure the other Dems would serve us well; but we need to focus on capturing that seat. A strong turnout by Dems in the jungle primary with only one Dem on the ballot is the best way to accomplish that.

He has John Lewis' endorsement. Yes, I do hope the others drop out. Now is not the time to make fine points about Dem candidates. It's the time to throw everything at the Repubs.
