. . . . either way, we'd hear about quickly. Instead, we get "no comment" and eyes that reflect constitutional terror.
Pure speculation here, but I think Comey's message was "We *think* this is what went on by whom, with whom, to whom, and why we think it, but as yet we have no airtight case. We're close. But not quite yet."
A week more?
A month more?
A year more?
The wheels of justice turn slowly.
Meanwhile, they ask themselves: how to we as a country deal not with impeachment but with incredibly serious criminal charges against a president and many in his administration and orbit?

A great analogy for the situation is pilot landing safely through bad turbulence. Passengers want updates. Pilot not talking, flying plane.

I refuse to have hope for that partisan traitor Comey. Fix it or not, he's not on my side.

And, Bushco got away with lying the country into Iraq with literally not even the first bit of accountability - after Reagen used the "I was an absentee POTUS, so I didn't know" defense to not get held accountable for Iran Conta.
The fate of this country as a functional democracy in the hands of a scumsucking POS like Comey is pretty damn dire ...

(34,845 posts)How do they go about prosecuting a dozen members of the Executive Branch? It's never been attempted before. Is it the FBI's responsibility or Congress'?
It could also be that communications between Russia and the admin are ongoing. (Yes, they're that stupid, imo.) So they would want to see how much more evidence they can accumulate rather than let some unidentified culprits get away.
Maybe we'll hear something at the public hearing on Monday.

I keep on thinking of a "surprise visit" to DC by Pootie now that would put everyone in a tail spin. I am not wishing for it, but I can see it happening. Or some secret meeting place like Mar A Lago.
