Spicer just actually said these real words for real: "There's this assumption in Washington that if you get less money, it's a cut."

Since Spicer thinks you can get less without it being a cut, let's reduce his salary by 50% and call it a raise. #PressBriefing

I'm a major word-parser, but there's no point in parsing Spicer's words here. It's just a torrent of lies defending a lie.

And if anyone watching bites on those alternative facts,

I've never seen a spokesman so defensive, confrontational and monopolizing of time while talking over others. What a complete ASS! This is government ruled in chaos.

He just has that look about him that special effects people have been trying to duplicate for decades. Haggard, red-rimmed eyes, irrational...trying to give the impression that he's one of us while knowing he is far superior....

If that was reduced, he would see that as a cut, wouldn't he? Maybe not, since he is in DC. Must pay well to be a liar on a daily basis.

30%/year, and he wanted to cut ... er nominally reduce a program's funding by 10%, that wouldn't really be a cut because what's left has 20% more purchasing power or something like that, right?

Yeah, well, he's not really taking the "axe" to it, if the cost of living were falling there by 30%/year, and he's only "axing" it by 10%
