Poll: "Not that Bright" or "Everything is Propaganda"

Sometimes their attempt to divert attention demonstrates a combination of astute understanding of what will stampede the herd and other times just sounds like the rambling of the stupidest guy in your 7th grade gym class (who was already showing the effects of self medication).

For example if you wanted to stop issuing visas or parole entry documents (for refugees) from certain countries I can think of about 140 different ways you could do that without even going to the courts if you were the President:

Just a few:

1) Find a country where there is a backlog of visa applications and assign all of the Consular officers in the targeted countries to do a TDY in another country.

2) Issue a memo stating that there has been a discrepancy in the Alien Registration Numbers and that all of the ARNs for the following countries need to be returned until later notice until an audit has been completed.

3) Find that for certain countries the previous requested survey of “Number of Butterfly Species” or “Compilation of Market fluctuations in the cost of bread”, etc have not been finished and that this work is critical and that all Consular officers be reassigned in the Embassy except for one who will handle American citizen issues.

During the Bush Administration I talked with dozens of scientists (some of who were near tears) who said that their work was effectively sabotaged by administrative rules.

So are these guys idiots and can’t figure out how to get anything done or are they simply only concerned with public relations? After all attacking "Meals on Wheels" is about the stupidest PR move in the history of the country. Third alternative, they are idiots but once they get into a scrum keep repeating things until they agree its brilliant.

visas? They control the issuing of visas. Have they not figured that out or is their only concern propaganda?

fairly smart. I don't think his actions have much to do with smart or stupid. I think the #1 motive of the Con's administration is self enrichment and that of his family members & the execs he brought in with him. Every now & then some of the plans slip through. Eliminating the EPA gives HIM & his Buds a big advantage in varying land purchases & getting building permits. Increasing the military $$ will keep all those suppliers flying high in the Stock Market and bring in nice big dividends to their stockholders. I don't KNOW is the Con owns any of their stock but I'd be surprised if he doesn't and I KNOW their management would Thank the Con BIGLY! Of course lowering the top tax rate benefits ALL his Buds and even those who never met him.

It's become crystal clear that The Con only does things that somehow benefit HIM is some big way.

The distractions are meant to keep us busily watching all the different "GEMS" that get he post on Twitter and keep us from actually figuring out what's really going on. I believe he's underestimated the Public though, by using so many stupid distractions. The only people who they work on are his most ardent supporters, and sooner of later even most of them will open their eyes.

7. Other: To assume they are just ignorant is a mistake.

It may be true that they are not a band of geniuses, but the repukes are not ignorant. They are devious and heartless bastards that care only for themselves.

Their use of gerrymandering and propaganda as a means to gain control of house, senate, and WH was no accident by a group of dolts. When you understand that they are heartless and devoid of conscience, their motives become clearer. Even when they do what seems completely stupendous, there is probably a devious plan at work. Fuck every one of them.

8. There are some wickedly smart ones there...

The Secretary of State despite having a soul dark as petroleum is whip smart. Genius no doubt. He ran Exxon for gods sake. The Generals are generally well above average and very socially functional. And perhaps our only hope. They probably have a true understanding and respect of the constitution which is why there is an attempt to isolate them.

But those are not the ones in control. It is Trump, the grim reaper Bannon, Miller the anti-Semite, the Nazi Hungarian whose name I cannot spell and the prodigal son-in-law that are making all the big decisions. And they are the keystone kops incarnate.
