He was probably informed of this in 2000. At least he didn't lie about the election being rigged.

Exit polls have historically been accurate both in the US and in other countries. Not so since 2000 here in the US at least. Chances of the exit polls being so different that actual vote results in 2016 presidential election less than 1 in 13000 (Baiman et al).

is seen internationally as one of the surest signs of election fraud. I can still remember officials in the Bush administration making this very point just weeks after the 2004 election in questioning the legitimacy of an election in another country (Ukraine iirc) and I was fucking screaming at the damn tv because omg the fucking gall of these people!
