(1,058 posts)They'll let Trump make as many radical proposals as he can, which will make the Pence administration look sane and centrist in comparison.

(203,026 posts)It's been such a short time, yet the damage continues to pile up. I regard Pence as a dangerous extremist, but at least he's unlikely to set off a nuke if he loses his temper over Arnold Schwarzenegger...

(5,281 posts)his shenanigans are sucking all the air out of the news coverage, allowing them to do their damage in relative secrecy.
Once they have done all the damage they can, or he starts getting in the way of their doing further damage, they will be "Shocked. Shocked!" to either find out that he is batshit crazy and needs to be removed via the 25th Amendment, or will suddenly discover his is the most-corrupt Administration in history and will impeach him for violating the Emoluments Clause.
And will then try to take credit for removing the corruption.

(2,519 posts)If the Republican party turns on Trump, Republican voters will turn on the Republican party with a vengeance. They are hostages. However, it would only take a couple of Senators to change things.
Perhaps it might be good to invite a few Republicans for quiet drinks. Am thinking that McCain, Collins, Alexander, and just maybe Graham.

(20,018 posts)They believe that rich people who have more than they could ever spend should still take food out of the mouths of poor children.
They have no idea what 'enough' means.
When will America say enough and stop these monsters -- by force, if necessary (and it will be necessary)?

He admitted that he and Rich Lowry "dreamed of" capping Medicare back when they were kegger-drinking college punks.
The GOP has all three branches of government. This is their best chance to shove as much of their nasty, destructive agenda through as they've ever had.
They'll ignore everything Trump is doing and stonewall any investigation for as long as they possibly can.
And to help that effort, the MSM hasn't truly challenged Trump (social media news figures are a different matter). Their shock at the way a German journalist posed a direct question demonstrates that.
